Can I still use my Vokera Compact Combi Boiler with the pressure at 4 bar?

My wife accidentally released the water inlet valve and the pressure has risen to almost 4 bar - firstly how can I get the pressure to go down to the norm? secondly is it OK still to use the system? Please help asap

drain water from rad to lower pressure.boiler should release at 3 bar so have boiler checked
