The tumble dryer is on but the drum is not rotating - yesterday my bath mat got stuck & I had to pull it out of the drum

well they do come apart had mine to bits many times but then again i am a fitter ..lol take 2 screws at the rear of the top of the machine, out that hold the top on. Push the top of the machine to the rear and voila. ure inside it screw inside holds the side panel on also a screw behind the bottom plastic front cover..at the bottom of the machine side panel comes off to get to the belt .motor and just about every thing else

I have just spent 2 hours trying to dismantle my tdv62, same as yours, to get at the belt to replace it.
I'm an electrician, but house wiring, not servicing appliances.
Still, I ought to be able to change a tumble dryer belt...
NOT SO ON THIS MODEL!!!
It simply doesn't dismantle so that the motor spindle is accessable... so i'm about to shop for a new one, old dryer is in the garden with every screw removed, still wont seperate unless I hit it with a hammer.
Still, it was cheap and cheerul... what should I have expected? Access so that a simple part could be replaced?
No chance...

If you can hear the motor turning but the drum isn't turning then the drive belt has probably broken. Move the drier out and see if there are bits of belt on the floor. You may need to remove the back or turn it upside down to investigate further.
