Hotpoint Super plus dishwasher 7820?

I have a Hotpoint 7820 dishwasher. It worked well for years. Now it leaks a lot of water out of the underside of the front door, towards the end of the cycle. I fitted a new door seal but it hasn't helped. What may be the cause?
