Fab thank you our Ideal boiler was flashing H9 I have changed the pressure and the boiler is now working. Many thanks for the help.

overheat fault, check the pressure gauge on the bottom left hand side under the boiler the pressure should be around 1-1.5 bar. could also be the pump or the dry fire stat.
