Bosch washer/dryer error code E-06?

I have a Bosch integrated washer/dryer (WVTi3240GB/02) which is reporting error code E-06.

Any help identifying the cause would be greatly appreciated.

open the bottom white plastic cover, unscrew the black cap, let the water drain out, then set the washing machine to drain+spin
