manual for Singer Merritt 1872 machine?

Does anyone have a manual for a Singer Merritt 1872 machine? I inherited a machine but no manual and this does not form loops -I think it needs a timing adjustment - but since I do not have the manual, I can not figure out how to fix it.

You can find the manuals online for about $10.00- they will download as a PDF to your computer. I just found the same 1872 manual at http://www.sewingmanuals.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Singers.htm

Hello Again Jean,
The best chance you have for a manual is to go on ebay and from about 20 onwards there are loads of Singer manuals for sale for all models, failing that if you can email a picture to me I can get the similar model.
