How to fix headphone symbol and charging problein sony ericsson K550i?

My phone shows that headphones are connected whether i connect them or not, the symbol is always on...
and while charging it says "Charging Lien Battery" and the battery does not last even for 5 minutes although phone is charged for 12 hours...
