My system is about 13 years old. Recently the CD player has not been reading or cycling CDs. Everything else works fine. I would not like to replace it so I am hoping it can be repaired. Please help.

Hello Allison,

I would like to ask are you getting an error message on the LCD window if so the aperture window of the laser maybe excessively dirty and with a cotton bud and glass cleaner solution placed on to the bud in circular motion clean the small round window where the laser shines through.
