my battery died and since then i have to open door with my keys,which sets alarm off. can i reset it myself, or how can i disable my alarm..

try key in ignition switch on and hold lock button on fob for several seconds,or disconnect the battery for 30 mins then reconnect it.fault may lie in the powersounder back up alarm.this is behind the plastic trim in the passenger arch.if the sealed batteries fail this can cause problems.switch ignition on and remove the sounder.
