Indesit IS60v Dryer Timer Goes Round Too Quickly?

I have an Indesit IS60V tumble Dryer and the timer is going round too quickly. 120 Minutes actually takes about 10 minutes to finish. You can visbily watch the timer move round.

Does this mean I need to replace the timer??
