My Indesit D41 has managed to lock itself whilst the door is open .. I cannot work out which part of the plastic inside needs to move, whether it should go up or down, to enable me to unlock it .. if anyone has an idea or experience of this problem I would appreciate some help

have the same problem
there are 6 screws located to the top end and side to the door remove these and also the 2 screws holding the door catch.
the front panel will push out, there you will see 2 wires attached to a micro switch use a flat head screwdriver to prise the lever back
am trying to locate a new microswitch as I think this is the cause of the problem remember to unplug the dishwasher from the electricity supply first
