how to fix my stripped strap knob?

my knob that holds the strap on my bass is stripped and i use strap locks..how can i fix my bass?????

yer man. i did that once so i put 2 matchsticks in the hole broke them of at the top then a touch of wood glue in the hole screwed the strap holder in the guitar & thats it, no problem. it has lasted 10 years so far.
