Hot water but central heating not working
Engineers say it is the circuit board or the pump both expensive to replace but not convinced replacing both these items will fix it
Any ideas please?

it's probably the pump, pretty unlikely to be the pcb.
you can get a pump for around £80, standard grundfos 15/60 will fit it as you'll only need the head.
