Veritas 8c not working...suddenly!?

Had the Veritas 8c since 2002. A couple of weeks ago it refused to set. Zone 8 lights up and 8 beeps sound. Zone 8 isn't a security zone, all 7 zones work fine on walkthrough, but it won't set. Veritas services were no help! Any ideas?

Thanks...opened it up..there were 4 small wires at the top..all connected, all tight. Still not working.

open the main panel (the alarm will sound enter your code) llok for z8 on the board if its looped tighten the screws
