How do I stop water running into the'salad' space?

How can I stop water from running out of the bottom of my freezer into the 'salad' space? I have checked the tube at the rear and this is clear as far as I can tell,

I was told the only reason that happens is if you leave something liquid in the fridge without a top (cling film/foil)
I know this sounds bizzare but since we did this it hasn't happened!
