How can I fix my mp3 IMP-65 player?

Installed disc in computer it seemed to be uploading data on to
player but when I tried to play it comes up with No Authority and doesn't let me play music. Is the player faulty?
Player is a iitronic Portable WMA/MP3 Player IMP-65

My best guess is that "no authority" means that the files that you have transferred to your player are protected by DRM (digital rights management).
