How can i fix my USB?

I was in class, my teacher mowed on the chair and his leg hit my USB, bending it, the computer will not pick it up anymore, is there anyway to fix it? It has 2 years of work on it, plus also very important stuff rom home, can i recover my data some how?

I agree
But it is likely that one of the connectors to the usb has snapped. I had the same problem but I'd backed the majority of my work up.
I highly doubt that its repairable, You might be able to find a company to repair the usb, but it will be costly
