usb memory stick damaged?

the stick was bent while in a computer, the port was bent at an angle and is now not recognised by any computer when plugged into it. there was a red light that used to flash when it was in use this does not function. the 4 pins connecting the memory stick internal componnents do not appear to be damaged, even after the port was bent back into position. the casing came off when it was deformed. the internal components do not appear damaged or deformed. is there any way to repair this? hopefully it is not a write off as i am hoping the delicate internal components are undamaged and there is a way to fix it. advice would be appreciated

You've answered your own question: "delicate internal components".
It's busted. Get over it.
