we have woodchip on the ceiling of the house we have just bought....there is a fine crack too. Would it be possible to buy some thick wallpaper such as blown vinyl to cover the whole lot.....the thought of having to strip it fills me with despair!!

Hi Rachael, thanks for your reply. Just been to a well known DIY place and they do a specific paper to cover wood chip.....going to give it a try. Fingers crossed!

Yes you can, we made this mistake but it doesnt look as smooth as it would if you strip the woodchip wallpaper down...

If I was to do it again, would definately go through all the strain of removing the woodchip wallpaper first.
