i prime the carburetor it will start, but will stop after a couple of sec ?

craftsman high wheel trimmer it will start but quits after a second or so is there some kind of automatic shut off?
or is that just not getting fuel after the primmer fuel run out?

I have just had the same thing happen to me and it is a broken fuel tube. The tube that goes through the black rubber grommet into the Fuel tank.
