i am trying to replace a window in a 2001 vectra. this is a drivers side window. i have had the door card off and can see a lot of what to do but have been compromised by what looks like the activation unit for the side airbags. Is this the unit that needs to be removed to access the front runners on the electric windows? Pleaseeeeee could somebody give me a clue to how to do this job!!!!!!!

Yes,just done mine,it should pop out(mine was empty),enough room then to get your hand in easy,just pop airbag back in when finished.
