Cannot get rid of the "L" on my schott ceran?

Hello,

I know others have had problems with this but I have tried and tried and just cannot get rid of the "L" no matter what sequence I follow with the + and - buttons on the hob...any advice appreciated, need to make baby food and no microwave!!

Turn it on, and then press the "-"button for five seconds. Did the trick for my Electrolux Ceran 56d.
