Timer on a Cannon Winchester cooker?

I have bought a secondhand Cannon Winchester cooker. The timer has 5 buttons. The only manual I can find shows 6 buttons (includes a Manual button). How do I switch from Auto to manual without this extra button?

Push the 2nd and 3rd button from the left together then let go the little A in the top left corner should disappear, then it should work manually
