the rear doors on my renault scenic 1999 wont open please help

When you say open, do you mean that they won't unlock or that you cannot open them whem they are unlocked?
I had a problem with my offside back door, and it was a little piece of white plastic that connected the handle mech to the latch mech. Bit of super glue worked a treat... very fiddly though!!

child locks will be on u can turn them off by opening the door from the outside and pushing the little switch along
