after storing for 5 months the car starts, but will not engage gears although the stick is moving, but very stiff to move

the tiptronic boxes change gear electrically (pistons engaging gears) because stood so long pistons might be seized you could try selecting forward and reverse gears whilst engine running to try free them up failing that needs to go to an auto box specialists who specialize in tiptronic boxes (
expensive )
