After fitting a new drive belt to my Flymo Vision Compact 330, using the instructions given on another thread on this site, I can't get it tight enough to stop it slipping when I start the mower up.

I have moved the motor as far away as the screw holes allow before tightening the screws up, but it makes no difference.

If you have run out of travel it will require a new base plate, it may well have disstorted.
