I have just obtained a Matsui VX3000 video recorder (which is a model so old, it dosent even have a friggin' scart connection) from my nannan's and I have connected it up, inserted a brand new maxell video tape into it, but will not do any functions! (e.g. play, record, etc.) Not even eject! Can anyone help fix my problem?

picture flickerin and sound, seems like the tracking. older video players use manual tracking, also try using a head cleaner to clean the player.

That problem has been fixed, but I have encountered another problem. When I play back a tape, the picture flickers, and the sound goes with it plus it does not record. Oh it is connected by coaxial lead. Any help would be appreacited, thanks!
