I've just bought a 1993 1.4 astra. The fan belt appears to be slipping every time i set off, noticeably by the loud screeches! Should I be able to fix i myself or are there many complecated reasons why this may be happening? Would it likely to be expensive if i took it to a garage to be fixed?

buy a new fan belt and should be easy enough to fit, loosen tensioner and should fall off
