Vauxhall Frontera 2.2tdi 1999?

is the immobilisor connected to the fuel pump? Engine stopped dead as if the ignition had been turned off,i suspect fuel pump because i sprayed easy start into the inlet manifold and then the engine fires. Tried everything else...its not electrical, had diagnostic, comes up with no faults..HELP QUICKLY PLEASE.... x

The immobiliser is connected to the engine ecu which controls the fuel pump, so if the ecu does'nt get a good signal from the immobiliser unit, it will not allow any fuel to go to the injection system, but this problem should of shown up on the diagnostics, but if you were using a generic code reader it might not show any faults as the year of your car it does'nt have to conform to the EOBD standard and any fault codes readings might be false unless it is connected to a Vauxhaul Tech2 reader
