dishwasher dwd 4310w?

my machine will not empty the last inch of water.Ive checked the filter & the pump inlet & outlet for blockages but all clear.Can somebody advise me of my next step.Most grateful.

1 inch above the silver filter or 1 inch in the sump under the filter.If its the latter then this is normal!
