my zanussi tumble dryer wont spin?

My zanussi electrolux tc180 tumble dryer is getting hot but wont spin. Can u help ?

is the belt intact and around the motor and drum.if everyting is in its place and you can freely rotate the drum by hand and the belt is OK then look at the start capacitor mounted next to the motor.if this is faulty the drum will not rotate
