How old is this boiler as I have one fitted and a heating company recently came out to fix a fault under my insurance and they have told my insurance company it is between 18/22 years old.Which basically invalidates my home emergency insurance for my boiler as it is over 15 years old. Is there anyway of finding out how old it is

The serial number (usually by the gas valve) may help in actual age if you ring Baxi (who bought out Potterton)
