Window not secure?

My UPVC double glazed window is moving away from the brickwork on one side, it looks as if the unit has not been secured correctley when installed (the company went bust). I have a gap of about 3/4 inch between the sill and the frame I push it back but it moves out almost immeadiatey.
My question is can this be repaired and will it be an expensive job?

if you can move the window, then the frame itself has not been secured to the brickwork.
you need to drill through the frame and into the brick and fix with suitable frame fixing. if there is no opener where it needs to be fixed then you need to remove the glass unit. it will not be expensive and only approx half an hour job in total.
