I have a Marantz SR5300 a/v receiver that has served me well over the years. However, the receiver is not reading the remote control thus making it impossible to set up my receiver. I thought it was the remote but when I used the same remote to my Marantz DV4400 DVD player, it worked flawlessly. Could it be the my receiver's remote sensor is not working? If so, can this be repaired? Your suggestion is greatly appreciated.
