My mother's German manufacturer power recliner (W.Schillig, style #57193) is not functioning properly. Instead of the seat going back gradually to the recline position, it goes immediately horizontal. What has gone wrong? Does it need repair/replacement or is there an easy fix. My mother is 84 yrs old & on a fixed income. She can't afford costly repairs and needs her chair for health reasons.
