The dorr on the Diplomat HJA 8540 does not stop slightly ajar?

Becasue the door goes straight to the bottom I have to make sure that the door is shut during the programme, this has caused some damage to the wooden door on the front, probably steam damage, do I need a door spring, if so how do I fit it?
