flashing screen on my radio/cd ford 6006e?

My 6006e ford stereo display screen has suddenly starting flashing, the system still works all the radio stations work as does all the six cd's it shows what is currently playing but flashes every 3 seconds. There is no error code showing please help

Providing you have the code (very important!) I removed the fuse. This reset the unit rather than disconnect the battery. Once I popped the code back in, it worked fine - both the volume and the flashing display were fixed.
