my indesit idl40 dishwasher does not rinse or dry?

I have an Indesit IDL40 slimline dishwasher that has suddenly stopped rinsing or drying dishes after the wash cycle. I contacted Indesit who claim its fault AL08(which has no listing on the web link they sent). Has anyone any ideas on this one?
