hi. my blaupunkt car300 is in safe mode?

hi, i have blaupunkt car 300 i disconnected the battery and i lost the code for the car i had 10 tries to put the code in its was wrong now its in safe mode any ideas getting it working again i have been driving around in silence for 2 weeks please help.

Keep the key in the ignition for few hours, then try again using this procedure

With the ignition switched ON.
Hold down the AS button whilst switching the radio ON.
The display will then show 10 _ _ _ _
Input the radio code, Then press AS to activate.
