HOTPOINT WASHING MACHINE Will not drain?

My daughter washed her conforter and there are floating fuzzys, I think it might have pluged the drain on the washing machine, but I don't know how to take off the aggitator.

Hello,

I'm not sure why you need to take off the agitator to check for a clog. You need to check the drain hoses and pump underneath the washer for a clog.
