how can i fix my vcr ?

my matsui vcr wont take the tape it lets you put it in it dosent go all the way then spits it back out

the only thing you could fix your self is if a foreign object is in the machiene ( a lable off a tape perhaps)
just look through the flap to see if there is anything there
