How can I fix my camera. Olympus Stylus 1010 blue?

My camera was working and the battery went completely flat. I didnt charge it for a while and since then when I plug it into my computer to charge, it doesn't respond. What should I do?

Step 1. Get a new Li-ion rechargeable battery
Step 2. Get a Li-ion battery charger. (one should have come with your camera).
Step 3. Don't depend on your computer to recharge batteries.
