Kenwood KDW12st3a with 4 dashes on the display, cannot program. any ideas?

We have a Kenwood KDW 12st3a dishwasher and we are unable to select any program. The display shows 4 dashes ---- on the display. I have replaced the circuit boards inside the front door - no luck there is power up to the display. Any ideas what to check next?
