your explanation dosnt give much for us to elp you with?: eh power to swithc then niothing? what the earth does that mean???? o.O , all i can determine from that explanation si you have checked voltage up to your switch, and are getting nothing coming nfrom your run postion or start postion on your igntion swithc, ...only answer i can give here is..your igntion switch is duff u/s not working, ....!

Move the flywheel by hand to see if engine is free, if it is it must be starter motor, so try putting stong power cable from live on battery to the power feed on starter motor if wont turn over then will have to fix it

Does your starter motor click?
Have you tried to bypass your ignition?
have you decompressed the cylinder first (choke)
