How can i fix my hotpoint first edition 1000 wm52?
My washing machine (hotpoint first edition 1000 wm52) suddenly gave a load bang and tripped the circuit breaker in my house. When i started it again it worked but the water was not draining. When it reached the end of its cycle the door would not release as there was still water left in the drum. I drained out the water myself but the door would still not release. I took it apart and disconnected the live wire connecting to the door lock. This reset it and released the door. However after putting it all back together the waching machine doesnt start. How can i fix this?
