How can I get my Mercedes 190e 2.6 started (fuel feed problem)?

I have a 1988 Mercedes 190e 2.6 that I inherited it ran before being put into storage. When removed it would not start, after a lengthy fault finding mission it has been narrowed down to fuel not being pumped through despite the pump buzzing when ignition is turned on. The fuel pipes are dry unless I suck fuel through YUK! The Pump, Filter, and Accumilator are all new prior to being stored, and the fuel is new as well. The engine fires when Easy Start is sprayed via Air Intake. Any ideas as I need to get to get it sorted it's blocking Wheelchair Access, and had a bereavement so lost interest at the moment. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Many thanks. Regards Mark

Many thanks Maurice I forgot to mention that had been checked as well, as far as relays can be checked! If you or anyone else can tell me how many relays there are related to the fuel system, and there positions etc. Plus anyone have the codes in case they have been swapped for a similar one. The Workshop Manual was a bit brief and the Technical Department were very helpfull, but still not sure as to what the problem can be. Any other advice is welcomed. Regards Mark
