How to remove the agitator from my 550 esprite simpson machine to clean?

I get bits of cotton etc from under my agitator and need to take it out to clean, the screw is very impossible to get to, love to know if there is a long spanner or such to undo, any idea's, many thanks

you need a 10mm socket, most socket sets have two extensions, a 10 inch and a 6 inch, you will need both of them to reach the bolt.
