6.2 liter deisel injector pump?

I would like to get a little more power out of my 1991 Chevy c2500 deisel pick-up. It seems to be running a little lean. Is there any way to turn up the injector pump on this model. This model does not have a turbo.

There is a way but the injection pump has to be pulled and sent out for modifcations
