electrolux eou6330xk bottom oven tripped out?

the bottom oven tripped on my eou6330xk. i have checked the element with a multi meter and it appears to be working. can anyone help as this is mystifing me

if the element is to earth it will trip.resistance across the terminals will be OK on a multimeter.you need a mega to test the insulation value of the element NOT a multimeter.
