water urn?

I have an water urn aswell,i had left the urn on over night and has dryed out of water.now the urn dosnt go at all i think i have a blown element,and when i do put the power plug into the power plug and turn it on it sparks a blue light that turns off my power to other appliances in the house,shouldnt this happen when it dosnt go at all?what shell i do,i dont even know what shop to take it to to get fixed.

The element has become too hot and has burned itself out - a part of it carrying live power is touching the earthed shell of the urn - this is why the power is tripping out - as a safety precaution to prevent electrocution.

Amazon or somebody may sell you a new urn - repair may be difficult, costly and take longer than you would wish.

Do not attempt to use it - give up on the plugging it in.
